Who I Am

It was in 2001 that my career really started when Gregory Charles asked me to be the soloist for his choir. I was then 19 years old.

In 2002, I auditioned and got the part to be a singer in the musical revue Generation Motown. I did over 250 performances with this troop.

In 2003, I was a back vocalist on one of the largest European tours for Garou.

From 2005 to 2009, I was the house singer and back vocalist for a television show called ‘On n’a pas toute la soirée’ with Éric Salvail on TVA and another show called ‘M pour Musique’ with France Beaudoin on CBC. Also, I participated in several album recordings with artists such as Daniel Bélanger, Damien Robitaille, Ginette Reno, Funkytown the movie etc. In all, more than thirty albums.

From 2007 to 2009, I toured with DJ Champion. I replaced Betty Bonifassi.

In 2007, Corey Hart approached me and offered to produce my first solo album in collaboration with Warner Music Canada. We had some success but in the process I had to make several artistic compromises. The launch of this album was in May 2011.

In 2012, we terminated our musical collaboration by mutual agreement. I wanted to remain authentic and Corey Hart kindly accepted my artistic choices.

In 2010, I formed my own band and I self-produced many shows on different stages of the province of Quebec. We also inflamed several evenings at the now closed Jello Martini Lounge. In 2012. I even performed on the opening night of the Montreal Jazz Festival on the large outdoor stage.

I then realized that it was time for me to self-produce my next album. I started writing in collaboration with the excellent bassist and member of my group Rémy Malo. During that time I applied in vain to several grant applications for the making of this album.

In the summer of 2014, the writing of my mini-album was finished. I used Kickstarter to launch The Voodoo Trix Project, to fund the making of my album. It was a success

Today my album Voodoo Trix is ready and I am very proud of the result.

GET READY CAUSE IT’LL BE HOT LIKE FIRE!!!
